Epson 252 ink cartridges provide high-speed, high-resolution output
One key feature of many all-in-one printers is the ability to print sharp clear text and images quickly. Epson’s 252 cartridges work with select WorkForce all-in-one printers like the WorkForce WF-7620 printer to provide industry-competitive resolution and print speeds, particularly for wide-format printing. They offer high-resolution printing of 4800 x 2400 dots per inch, as well as print speeds of up to 18 pages a minute (ppm) in black and 10 ppm in color.
As with any ink or toner cartridge for printer-scanners, the 252 inkjet cartridges yield print on specific types of paper. The 252 cartridges print on practically all available media, including iron-ons, transparencies, self-adhesive sheets, and inkjet cardstock, in addition to standard multipurpose paper, presentation paper, and glossy and matte photo paper that also includes wide-format, 13 x 19-inch borderless paper. Both the original and extra-large cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK) cartridges fit select WF-3600, WF-7100, WF-7600, and WF-7700 WorkForce series models. The extra-XL Epson 252 black ink cartridge fits select WF-7000 WorkForce series models.
The 252 cartridges contain Epson’s advanced DURABrite Ultra ink
The key feature of toner-based laser printers is clear, sharp text and image printing. Epson 252 cartridges contain a proprietary ink that produces laser-like inkjet print on all types of paper. DURABrite® Ultra ink consists of resin-encased pigment particles that rest on top of the paper, rather than being absorbed into it, so it creates a smaller spot size that minimizes feathering and bleed-through on double-sided copies, and yields blacks with a higher optical density. The ink also produces much brighter, truer colors on gloss photo paper because the particles don’t blend with the sheen of the paper.

The three types of black and color cartridges provide an impressive volume of per-cartridge print output:
- Standard-capacity black: up to 350 pages
- Standard-capacity tricolor: up to 300 pages
- XL black: up to 1,100 pages
- XL tricolor: up to 1,100 pages
- Extra-high-yield XL black: up to 2,200 pages
