Epson Ink Jet Printers Cartridges for Stylus Photo R280
Epson 77 ink cartridges contain photo-HD ink
The standard-capacity 78 ink cartridges contain Epson’s Claria® high-definition black pigment-based ink and dye-based color ink. All inks are quick-drying, so they’re smudge-, scratch, and water-resistant on all types of photo paper. The inks are also formulated for long-lasting fade-resistance, up to 300 years for photos placed in an album. The ink in the Epson 78 cyan ink cartridges and all other color cartridges is designed for full color saturation, smooth gradation from one color or hue to the next, and true tonality, including skin colors. The quick-drying ink in the Epson 78 black ink cartridge ensures smudge-free overlining with color highlighters, and it’s formulated to provide deep black ink that produces both sharp and bold text characters.
Epson 78 ink cartridges support lab-quality photo printing
The separate (CMYK) LC, and LM cartridges fit the innovative six-reservoir system of Epson Stylus Photo printers with both print and scan functionality. Equipped with ultrahigh-definition photo print technology, the printers can also create sharp, crisp text and vibrant color graphics on all printer paper. The cartridges come with SmartValve Cartridge technology in which MicroPiezo® ink-level sensors work digitally with photo-printer mechanisms to provide a consistent flow of ink onto each sheet of paper, even with diminishing cartridge ink. The cartridges and printers are also equipped for noncomputer printing with smartphones, memory cards, and digital cameras.
All cartridges, including the Epson 78 magenta ink cartridge, cyan ink cartridge, and the LM and LC supplements, fit several Epson Stylus Photo printers besides the R280:
- Stylus Photo printers in the R200 and R300 series
- Stylus Photo printers in the RX500 series
- Stylus Photo printer RX 680
In addition, the cartridges fit Epson’s Artisan 50 inkjet printer.
Standard-capacity Epson 78 cartridges provide impressive page yields
Standalone printers and all-in-one printer-scanners yield a variety of page output per ink or toner cartridge. The standard-capacity 78 cartridges are on the high end of the standard-yield range. The 78 black cartridge yields up to 335 pages. Taken together, the Epson 78 cyan, the Epson 78 magenta, and the Epson 78 yellow ink cartridges and their LC and LM supplements yield an average of 520 pages.
