Quill® Quill+™ Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the Quill® Quill+™ Loyalty Program (the “Program”), including Silver, Sapphire, Gold and Platinum, plus other levels of membership that Quill may introduce from time to time. Quill is located at 100 Schelter Road in Lincolnshire, Illinois, and Quill customer service can be reached at 800.789.1412 or QuillPLUS@Quill. These Terms are between you and Quill® and govern our respective rights and obligations. If you sign up for a Program membership, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements. Please note that your use of the Quill® website and your Program membership are also governed by the Quill® Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and other terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements on the Quill website.
Eligibility
The Program is available by invitation only to: Quill® customers (other than education customers or customers who make purchases from Quill® pursuant to a written contract between the parties) who are 18 years of age or older:
Whose accounts are in good standing (existing customers);
Who create a login and account on Quill®; and
Who have a valid U.S. mailing and email address.
Eligible customers who participate in the Program are referred to as “Members”.
Other Limitations
We reserve the right to accept or refuse membership in our discretion.
We may send you email, and other communications related to Quill+™ membership.
You may not transfer or assign your Quill® membership or any benefits, including promotion codes for Quill® memberships or benefits, except as allowed in these terms.
Quill+™ members are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship to their customers or potential customers using Quill+™ benefits.
Some Quill® benefits may require certain purchase thresholds, have quantity or shipping address limitations, or require members to meet specified criteria to access them.
From time to time, Quill® may choose in its sole discretion to add or remove Quill+™ membership benefits.
Membership Fees
Membership in the Program is available for a one-year period (each, an “Annual Membership Period”) for an annual membership fee (“Annual Membership Fee”) that is set according to your level of membership: Silver, Sapphire, Gold or Platinum Membership by program. During each Annual Membership Period, Members receive the benefits listed for their level of membership at Silver, Sapphire, Gold or Platinum.
Annual Membership Fee must be paid in advance. Your membership will be automatically renewed for one-year periods, and we will send you a reminder notice via email at least 30 days before your auto-renew date. UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE YOUR AUTO-RENEW DATE THAT YOU WANT TO CANCEL OR DO NOT WANT TO AUTO-RENEW, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE FOR ONE YEAR (WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, UNLESS REQUIRED BY LAW) AND YOU AUTHORIZE QUILL® TO COLLECT THE MEMBERSHIP FEE (AND ANY TAXES) USING YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BILLING ACCOUNT ON RECORD. MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE NOT VALID TOWARDS THE USE OF MINIMUM SPEND SPECIAL OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS ACROSS QUILL.
Membership Benefits
Quill+™ Copy Paper
Members receive special Quill+™ Copy Paper pricing. Quill® reserves the right to increase the Quill+™ Copy Paper price if paper prices charged to Quill® by its suppliers due to factors including but not limited to manufacturers increases, logistics and transportation and delivery costs. Quill® reserves the right to change the brand of the Quill+™ letter copy paper at any time.
Rewards
Quill provides members with exclusive monthly Dollars-off Rewards.
Rewards are valid for a limited time only. Quill reserves the right to modify or cancel Dollars-Off Rewards at any time.
If you do not purchase the qualifying items added to your Cart when the reward is in effect, the discount will not apply.
The Dollars-Off Reward may only be used on www.quill and will not be valid until you've earned enough points to redeem it and your cart total is equal to or greater than the discount offered.
The promotion is limited to one Dollar-Off Reward per customer per month.
If you return any of the items purchased with a Dollars-Off Reward, the discount or value may be subtracted from the return credit.
Applicable shipping and handling charges apply to all products.
Void where prohibited.
Quill has no obligation for payment of any tax in conjunction with the distribution or use of any Dollars-Off Reward.
Consumer is required to pay any applicable sales tax related to the use of the Dollars-Off Reward.
Free Shipping
Quill+ member receive free shipping—no order minimum required. Excludes some oversized items. Applies only to delivery addresses within the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to revise this policy at any time.
Sitewide Price Match
Sapphire
If you find a lower price on the website of select competitors* prior to your purchase or within 7 days of your purchase, Quill will either lower the price (pre-purchase) or refund the difference in QuillCASH™ Rewards (post-purchase).
* Applies to lower, publicly available prices found on Staples.com, Amazon.com (shipped & sold by Amazon), Officedepot.com, Costco.com, Samsclub.com, Homedepot.com and Walmart.com (shipped & sold by Walmart) prior to or within 7 days of purchase. Delivered product only, not in-store price – comparisons must include freight and shipping costs. Not valid on gift cards, laptops, tablets and desktop computers, 3rd party marketplaces, bids, bid pricing, membership pricing, pallet and truckloads. You must be able to verify the competitor's price. Quill will either lower the price (pre purchase) or refund the difference in QuillCASH Rewards (post purchase). We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit quantities purchased and not match prices from a competitor's special offer or limited time/limited quantity promotion. Limit 5 price matches per month.
There are two ways you can submit a Price Match request:
If you have found a lower price on a qualifying competitor's website, call 800.789.1412 to speak to a representative. If they can verify the lower price, they will lower the price for you.
If you have found a lower price on a qualifying competitor's website within 7 days of your Quill purchase, please fill out this submission form. If the price is verified, we will send you the difference in QuillCASH.
Platinum
If you find a lower price from select competitors*, we'll match it for you and work to lock it in for future purchases. Some prices may not be eligible to be locked in. In those instances, your rep will work with you to identify other savings opportunities in the supplies you frequently purchase. Members may return their orders back to Quill® free of shipping charges, no matter how they generate the request. Standard Quill return policies apply.
Members receive special priority phone number and email address to contact Quill® customer service.
QuillCASH™ Rewards can be redeemed at checkout on every product Quill® sells.
QuillCASH™ Rewards must be used within 45 days unless otherwise noted.
Membership Cancellation
Quill® reserves the right to cancel the Program at any time for no reason. You may cancel your Program membership any time by calling or sending an email to Quill®. Upon cancellation, Quill® will refund a pro-rata portion of the prepaid enrollment fee corresponding to the unused Annual Membership Period, less the value of benefits you received while a Member, as determined by Quill®.
Termination
Quill® may terminate a member's participation in the Program for any reason without notice. If we do so, Quill® will refund the prepaid enrollment fee on a pro-rata basis equal to the number of unused months remaining on your Annual Membership Period less the value of benefits you received while a Member, as determined by Quill®. You are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship to customers using your Membership benefits. Misuse of the Program, including failure to follow or any attempts to circumvent these Terms, or other unlawful or improper conduct as determined by Quill® in its sole discretion, is strictly forbidden, and may result in cancellation of your membership without a refund of the Membership Fee. Quill® also reserves the right to terminate a member's participation in the Program if that Member only purchases paper during its Annual Membership Period. Quill's® failure to enforce strict compliance with these Terms will in no way constitute a waiver of any rights.
General
You will receive periodic emails about your membership in the Program. Benefits issued under the Sapphire, Silver, and Gold the Programs cannot be combined with any other reward, benefit, or program. Sapphire, Silver, and Gold Program accounts are limited to one account per eligible customer; each email address and mailing address are also limited to one account; benefits are nontransferable and may only be redeemed by the Member. Platinum Program Members custom pricing, benefits and account structure may vary based on customer. Quill® is not liable for unclaimed, expired, lost, or misdirected statements or other communications from Quill® to the Member or the Member to Quill®. Quill® may in its discretion change these Terms and may notify you by posting updated Terms on its website or by email (including in each case via links), or by regular mail. If any change to these Terms is found invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms. YOUR CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP AFTER WE CHANGE THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP. Quill® reserves the right to accept or refuse membership at its discretion and its decision on any aspect of a Member's account, membership status, or any other aspect of the Program or a particular Member's participation, shall be final.
IN ADDITION TO OTHER LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN QUILL'S POLICIES AND SECURITY, QUILL'S® TOTAL LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT EXCEED THE LAST ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE PAID BY YOU. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND WILL SURVIVE CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE PROGRAM
